Refund Policy

Overview
At UY Credit Cards, we strive to provide the highest quality card customization services. Due to the nature of our personalized services, our refund policy has specific conditions depending on where you are in the order process.
1. Cancellation Before Shipping Your Card
✓ Full Refund Available
If you cancel your order before sending your card to us, you are entitled to a full refund of your payment. To cancel:
- Contact us at support@yuniqcards.com
- Include your order number
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
2. After Shipping Your Card to Us
⚠ Partial Refund May Apply
Once you have shipped your card to us but before customization begins:
- Cancellation fee of AED 100 applies (covers shipping and handling)
- Your original card will be returned to you
- Return shipping costs may apply for international orders
3. After Customization Has Begun
✗ No Refund Available
Once the customization process has begun on your card, we cannot offer a refund because:
- The customization is permanent and cannot be reversed
- Materials and labor have been used specifically for your order
- Your card has been physically modified
We will notify you via email before beginning the customization process.
4. Defective or Damaged Products
↻ Replacement or Refund Available
If your customized card arrives with manufacturing defects or shipping damage, we will:
- Re-customize your card at no additional cost, OR
- Provide a partial or full refund depending on the issue
- Cover return shipping costs for defective items
To report a defect:
- Contact us within 7 days of receiving your card
- Provide photos of the defect
- Include your order number
- Do not attempt to use or fix the card
5. Card Functionality Issues
If your card does not work after customization:
5.1 Due to Our Process
If we damaged the chip, magnetic stripe, or contactless functionality during customization:
- Full refund of customization cost
- Compensation for card replacement fee (up to AED 100)
- Must be reported within 14 days of delivery
5.2 Due to Bank Policy or Reader Incompatibility
We cannot offer refunds if your card is rejected by:
- Your bank due to their policies on modified cards
- Specific merchants or ATMs that don't accept modified cards
- Contactless terminals (some materials may affect NFC)
Note: We recommend checking with your bank before ordering, especially if you rely heavily on contactless payments.
6. Lost or Stolen Cards
We are not responsible for cards lost or stolen after delivery. However:
- All shipments include tracking and signature confirmation
- Cards are insured during shipping
- If lost during shipping, we will work with the carrier on a claim
7. Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, including but not limited to:
- Not liking the final result (if it matches the approved design)
- Choosing a different design after completion
- No longer wanting the service
Please review your design carefully in the preview before confirming your order.
